Creative Writing

  • The Healing Kingdom

    Mythology and Astrology

Gorgeous book for which I was commissioned to create 20 chapters. I have attached chapter 20, Pegasus.

  • SLEEPWALK™ - A 9-step program of self-destruction.

A parody of a self help book.

The client, in recovery, wanted to make fun of his mistakes in a mock self-help format as a way to help others avoid the mistakes he made.

I had a blast writing this one.

    It’s available at Amazon Books

  • Around the World in 80 Arguments

    Novel: Young Adult, 15,000 words

Commissioned for a family separated by 15,000 miles, this is a creative fantasy adventure.

  • Saturday Night

    Synopsis of a short film

Bound for posters and ads for the film festival circuit, the client requested a single paragraph that was catchy, thought-provoking, and inspired a desire to see the film. This project reminded me that it's harder to write one paragraph than it is to write many.

  • The Orchid and the Cactus

    Short Story: 750-words

Written as part of a series for new parents.

The stories were in the style of Aesop's fables and addressed various challenges young families might face.

This particular story addressed the arrival of a new sibling, and the jealousy the older child might feel.
